What’s On My Travel Wish List

2 mins read

I’m on a travel high thanks to my upcoming travel plans after booking a flight to Phi Phi Island! Honestly, I didn’t even know where Phi Phi was before purchasing the ticket – turns out it’s in Thailand. Even though I dread packing and navigating airports, I absolutely love travelling to explore new places, experience different cultures, and try new foods.

KK’s Travel Wish List

Japan

My dream destination. I want to explore Tokyo and another culturally rich, popular city. Experiencing the weekday rush, discovering the endless vending machine options (I could live off them for days!), and immersing myself in the beauty of Sakura season are high on my list. I can’t wait to try quirky hotels, visit DisneySea, wear a kimono, see geishas, and indulge in gyoza. Oh, take me there already!

Bangkok

I’m planning to visit Bangkok with my cousins in April. Bangkok promises night markets, street food, and shopping adventures. I plan to explore local markets, buy paintings and Buddha statues, overload my tummy with the spiciest Thai dishes, and experience the vibrant nightlife, including tiger shows and Thai massages. Of course, I’ll also visit some beautiful pagodas.

Shanghai

My girlfriends often talk about Shanghai and have unofficially invited me to join them the next time they visit home. I am so in!

Paris

I’d love to soak up the atmosphere in Paris and indulge in some stylish people-watching. I’ve been romanticizing my stay there for ages. Picture this: the sun is warm, elegant people walking by, and I’m wearing a beret while strolling with a freshly baked baguette from the bakery across the street from where I’m staying.

I’d drink wine for breakfast, read a book all day, take naps with a book in my hand, and savour warm chocolate croissants. I can already imagine myself basking in the pink afterglow of a Parisian evening. And, of course, I’d visit Disneyland Paris.
