For dinner tonight, we went to Skyskraperen, a fancy restaurant overlooking Mount Ulriken. By fancy, I mean we took a cable car to visit one of the most exclusive restaurants I have been to, with the most scenic view I have ever seen, to eat the most underrated food I have ever eaten.
The chef came, introduced himself and explained the food to us individually.
The food, unfortunately, was not to our palate at all, so I welcomed the chilli sauce that my cousin smuggled inside. But then the chef came out again to ask us not to use it. Usually, I’d be embarrassed and agree, but this time, I was devastated. The chilli sauce was the only saving grace for the food that was laid in front of us.
One thing my Indonesian cousins and I agreed on food in Scandinavia left much to be desired.
