Today I returned to my old hunting ground, Golden Mile Hawker Centre, for one of my old-time favourite work lunches: Singapore Fried Kway Teow with fresh cockles, steamed veggies and fried anchovies.
I went there with my ex-workmates. We chatted, gossiped and had the grandest time. I also met the drink stall uncle, who had been yelling out drinks for me for years. It has been a good day down the work-memory lane.
