September is my birthday month, and it is an awesome excuse to stuff cakes into my mouth many times.

I went home this month. A staycation was on the agenda, and I took a day off for an extra-long birthday weekend.

This month, I also prioritized rest. It is a hobby I had been neglecting. The nature that I have been denying in lieu of work, work work. A conversation with Fafa nudged me that I could be happier. I would be much happier If only, I would pause and spend some time to recharge.

I also restarted my gratitude journal – writing four things I am grateful/happy about just before going to bed – an attainable goal, especially with all the cake-eating sessions this month. More importantly, I believe this goal will make me a happier human by the end of the of year.

At this very moment, I am grateful for the pouring rain outside my window.

I only watched one memorable movie this month: The Hangover 3, and it was good!

Cousin W got me a custom-made TravelGeek journal for my birthday!!
