Sitting in Prague Old Town’s Starbucks because it’s raining heavily, and we couldn’t find a decent-looking coffee shop nearby.
It was my suggestion, and it didn’t take long to regret it.
We placed our order and went to the second floor to watch people running in the rain—but gosh, the whole floor reeked of body odor.
Is this really my Prague experience?!
We went back down, planted ourselves by the big window and finally got to sip our Chai Tea Lattes. I wondered whether Starbucks didn’t get the memo that it’s not Tea Tea Latte? I even took a picture of the board in case I feel like naming and shaming later.
Fafa is googling Asian food because we kind of miss it… I know it’s too soon—we’ve only gone two days without Asian food—but you know what? It’s my birthday week, and I get what I want in Prague. He showed me a Vietnamese restaurant called Public Chilli, where a vegan left a one-star review because he requested no meat, got an egg instead, and then ranted about “stupidity.”
Err… I mean, if you came to a non-English-speaking country and have dietary requirements, maybe learn a bit of the language instead of calling the locals stupid for not understanding English.
I suggested to Fafa that we should go there just to spite the comment.
