Greetings from Denmark!
We touched down at Københavns Lufthavn a few hours ago. After checking into our amazing hotel room overlooking Nyhavn River, I begged my friends to get koffee. I was still half-disoriented between Melbourne, Jakarta, and Scandinavia, so I needed to be caffeinated continuously, at least during the daytime.
A 15 minutes random walk later, we stood in front of a quaint little coffee shop called Le Kaff. We ordered our drinks of choice, and I requested some time alone. This might seem rude to you who are reading this, but my friends have known me most of my life. They were all too understanding of my need for me-time. I sat on the corner chair with a huge window that overlooked the people traffic outside with my hot koffee, black Moleskine journal, and tarot deck.
I pulled a card: The Chariot. Hmm.
Making a decision, taking action, being firm and clear on direction
I am not sure what the card is trying to tell me. Denmark is my last stop during this Scandi trip. I don’t know what kind of direction is needed from me. Especially today, after a cross-country flight, checkout and check-in of hotels. I want to have an easy day today – nothing too action-ey. Maybe even an early night, back to the hotel after dinner, as I have a fully packed itinerary for upcoming days, including a Viking tattoo, a day trip and a walking food tour.
