Today we roamed around Hong Kong. We topped up our MTR cards and started from Central to Admilarty to Wan Chai to Causeway Bay and then Central to TimShaShui to Jordan and Mong Kong.
We rode the vintage tram, got down at random stops to explore the area, checked out the department stores and bookshops, and got plenty caffeinated. Jik said it was her favourite part of our trip.
We took the ferry to Kowloon and roamed around the Temple street night market, crowded with people and knickknacks in the evening. IMO, it is the best place to get cute souvenirs to bring back home as long as we know how to bargain, bargain and BARGAIN.
For dinner, we had the Hong Kong local delicacy, spicy crab bee-hoon, right in the middle of the night market. It was my favourite part of the day.
