When Vi and Yin visited us recently, we embarked on our first Great Ocean Road trip.
Two cars and four of us, because we are cool like that. It turned out to be a great road trip indeed. We took the scenic route, and the scenery kept changing. It’s supposed to be late Autumn, but there is a little leftover of summer in the air. Oh well, whether here is wacky anyway.
We walked around the path away from the bushes and went down the beach. It was a beautiful day to chill on the beach with a good book and a bottle of wine.
I don’t understand the hoo-ha of the twelve apostles. Seeing one was as satisfying as seeing twelve of it. I just don’t get it. I might be more interested if I read the spirit sides of it.
We had our meal at Apollos bay, where only one open restaurant was open. I couldn’t remember what I had, but I remember feeling loved having my best friends with us.
We stayed overnight at a pretty fancy farmhouse at Port Campbell. It was a beautiful room though my true crime-tainted mind kept thinking we might get killed due to lack of security.
But everything turned out to be okay. The next day we ate breakfast, took another scenic route, and bid goodbye to the Great Ocean Road.
