The Gold Coast trip has been fun and relaxing. It felt like something I needed. There are times when I get reminded of work stuff, but it feels like it exists in a different Universe. Somewhere I don’t get to see Byron Bay, eat half a dozen oysters and see a flipping whale.
I think I have to remember that this life, my life, is good. No, not good, but great. It’s funny how this revelation came during a trip like this, but a change of scenery might be something I needed.
“Would you come back to Gold Coast?” Fafa asked earlier.
Maybe ━ for the MOS burger, definitely ━ for Byron Bay and the warm sun. It’s so good.
We are leaving for Melbourne in 3 hours. I am going to miss this low-key vacation.
