In Amsterdam, I got:
The Known for Dinner Party zine, a bracelet featuring the Woman Reading a Letter painting from the Rijksmuseum, and a Moleskine notebook with the letter “KK” that Fafa got for me.
In Berlin, I got:
Random skincare products from dm. I bought Bunny prints for Jik and Liz, as well as artwork by a Japanese artist from a gallery in Dead Chicken Alley. The resident artist also gave me a free jellyfish canvas print. I got stamps from Jumbo and a backpack tote from Eat Berlin, which I gave to Liz.
I picked up Fungirl by Elizabeth Pich Stickers, Berlin washi tape, and matching ampersand stickers for Fafa and me from Hackescher Markt. I also got a Berlin Marathon T-shirt near Ku’damm.
The last meal I had in Berlin (and in Germany) was chicken Udon and a glass of rosé at 9:34 AM.
In Krakow:
The first thing I got was a beautiful wooden Polish cookie mold. The most gorgeous amber ring from Fafa, purchased at the Grand Market in Krakow. I bought a salt necklace from the Wieliczka Salt Mine. I also got Pilegrzym socks, a Legends of Krakow book, and a Krakow textile for Appa—all from the Grand Train Station in Krakow while waiting for our train to Budapest.
In Budapest, I got:
A pair of fancy hand-painted Hungarian earrings. I bought a Budapest city print and a plethora of stickers—all from Papetri Paperworks.
I got some essential oil roll-ons for free from the hotel.
I picked up a Lush bath bomb, which I used in the hotel bathtub, and a Lush Beauty Sleep mask that Fafa and I used yesterday- we didn’t go back to Melbourne because of our overweight luggage. I also got miniature paprika chili in a bottle.
I got a salad fork decorated with Hungarian art, which I gave to our neighbourhood, and some lavender stuff (lavender seemed quite popular in Hungary).
In Santorini, I got:
A blue linen top and white linen pants with a blue and white print, a blue linen shirt, and a beach hat—all within an hour of arriving in Fira and all for our photoshoot the next day.
I also picked up a donkey milk hair mask, Rigas nuts, and a Sprite-like drink. I didn’t get any postcards because they looked like the pictures I took with my camera. I got a Santorini pin (now worn by Asmi) and a donkey figurine that I named Santo-Gregorious (a mix of Santorini and our best guide, Gregory).
Lastly, Fafa got me a blue journal from Atlantis.
In Helsinki, I got:
Moomin charm, luggage tag stickers, and a fridge magnet from the airport immediately after we landed. A stack of postcards from Papershop. I also got an elk with dangling-legs fridge magnet, Finland and Suomenlinna Fortress stickers, and a tarot deck by a Finnish tarot artist.
We also did a NORMAL haul almost daily while we were there—it was a lot of fun.
I picked up matching Marimekko cups for Fafa and me, and Fafa got me a Marimekko journal* (*update: which I used and finished in 2024)
