My colleagues, mainly Jena and I, love having lunch at North South Cuisine on Beach Road Singapore. They serve Chinese food with an extensive menu that manages to satiate our palates, from the spicy-loving me to the savoury-favouring Jena. But after a few visits, we figured out that we were both equally crazy about the Chongqing Spicy Chicken, which comes with a side of rice as a lunch deal.
We talk about everything and anything, from our lives back home to our current boyfriends, and before we know it, we have polished off our chicken and rice with multiple servings of the free-flow Pu-erh tea. Oh, the price is also pretty affordable for a non-hawker centre sit-down restaurant, which is another reason why we keep coming back.
