The year I moved here, I learned that big things are a part of Australian culture and it’s called Australia Big Things. By big, I mean literal big things—70 or so odd big novelty items, according to an article I read. But I never really paid much attention to them because they seemed silly. That’s until Jik dragged me to see one—the big pineapple. Yes, last week I saw the big pineapple and took a selfie in front of it, and now that I kinda get the rush of chasing, seeing and selfie-ing with these big things, I am adding the rest to my Australia travel list.
