First of Many Bali Adventures and Girls’ Getaway

2 mins read

So, here I am, breaking into Bali for the first time, despite being Indonesian (yeah, I’m Indo-born, but hey, there’s always a first for everything, right?), and I’m all set to dive into many new experiences in this beautiful island.

This trip isn’t just about crossing Bali off my travel checklist; it’s my mini debut in solo travel. I’m stepping out of the urban jungle I’ve called home in Singapore for way too long. And guess what’s making it even cooler? It’s my first-ever proper girls’ getaway!

I left the Purple Room, bid goodbye to my parents this morning, and hopped on a plane from Jakarta Soekarno Hatta Airport. When I touched down in Bali early this afternoon, I thought to myself, “You know what? I’m going to be my own tour guide.”

I found this awesome spot with grilled fish by the roadside (I forgot to note the name). Then I strolled around Seminyak for hours (and managed not to buy a thing). Eventually, I checked into my hotel, had a refreshing dip in the ginormous pool, and ordered some room service. Now, here I am, fresh out of the shower, getting ready to crash, but not before recapping the day’s adventures on the blog.

And, oh boy, sleep? That’s going to be a challenge tonight. Why? Because I’m practically buzzing with excitement, waiting for my pals—Fia, Yiwen, Vi, and Crystal—they’re jetting in from China, stopping over in Singapore. They’re rolling into Bali tomorrow morning, and I’m legit bouncing off the walls, ready to show them what Bali’s all about – you know, culture, food, and soaking up all the chill vibes this place throws our way. I can’t wait to seamlessly blend into Bali’s magic and make unforgettable memories with them.
