I have more than a hundred things on my to-do list, from ironing a month’s worth of clothes to learning some basic cooking skills (haha. Who am I kidding?). I know I should start with something simple, so I won’t bulldoze it with self-inflicted laziness, and FUN but valuable.
Then I remembered that I would be spending about one-third of next month travelling down under with my cousins. Yay!
The thing is, I have done nothing about it, except the few hours spent Google-ing on how to smuggle a koala bear past the airport security.
I need to research Australia. What to eat? Who to ogle at? And most importantly, what to get from their supermarket? Also, what’s the name of their main supermarket chain?
I have also been trying to calculate my leave in lieu of the Australia trip. Not being organized is penalizing me this time. I should have put a simple X mark on the days I worked the past few weekends. Now I am going through my Whatsapp to filter me whining to Amma about working on the weekends. Okay, I remember working on weekends. Okay, I remember working on the day we went to KL and on one of the public holidays, but I am pretty sure there were more. I guess it’s time to go through the bank statement.
So far, I have looked for a place to stay and booked a wine tasting tour. Did lady Mary ever go for a wine tasting before? Considering the amount of wine served on their dining table every time, Lamingtons and Boston Bun went into to eat in Australia list. And put Mt Buller in our itinerary.
Now I have something to tell you; in my entire life, I never experienced real snow. Not a single drop. And I want to very much. I don’t know what to expect there, but I know I’ll be seeing snow. The picture on the tour website said so.
