Five minutes Before Berlin Time

1 min read

Idk – Berlin, Germany, is a juxtaposition for me.

I pondered this when our train to the airport (which cost €33 per person) stopped mid-way with no prior warning or indication. There was no clear replacement or suggestion for the next train’s timing.

It’s hard to believe Berlin’s public transport is unreliable, given the German saying:

“Five minutes before the time is the German punctuality”

Yesterday, I went inside a Moleskin store hoping the get BER engraved into my freshly AMS engraved Moleskin, only to be told that the machine is down.

I wonder – truly wonder whether Germany is really an efficient country?

Oh well, let me sort this problem first. Otherwise, we will miss my flight to Warsaw and then to Krakow.

KK (hopefully soon) out (from Berlin)!
