I qued for a long time because out of the 14 counters, only 3 were open, then I stood for a long time for my luggage and qued again for the longest time for the world-worst post-immigration/luggage check-out process. Then I had to queue again because I am always flagged to be dog sniffed (my luggage, not my unshowered self), and I can’t figure out why – is it my passport, is it my shitty-AF-catered-only-for-Melbourne-Airport face or is it my destination. I don’t know and have reached the point of not giving an F about this part. Also, dogs! But my favourite part of landing at Melbourne Airport, well, my only good thing about landing at Melbourne Airport, is passing through the immigration sliding door, stepping into the waiting area and sniffing a long full of freshly brewed coffee. Melbourne smells like coffee. And I am home.
