On our last day in Busan, we headed down to Haeundae Beach, the most popular beach in South Korea. We went to avoid the crowd in the morning and enjoyed it even more. There are cultural events and festivals throughout the year on Haeundae beach, and I was hoping we would be lucky enough on that day. Unfortunately, not at the time we visited it.
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
There are a few famous temples to visit in Busan. I recommend you visit at least one of them to sneak a peek at Korean culture’s spiritual side. We chose Yonggungsa primarily because of the area; it’s located along the coast, and the temple is made to look like a part of the sea. The best time to visit the temple is in April, during the cherry blossom season.
As this was our last day in Busan, we enjoyed the rest of the day doing random things we wanted to do. People also recommend seeing the Gwanggalli Bridge at night. Followed by eating at one of the many restaurants in the area, but we decided not to. Instead, we decided to stock up on skincare products and headed down to the Busan National University district and shop our hearts out.
