This month, I didn’t travel anywhere, but that’s completely fine đ Because I am home – home home.
Highlights
Yes, I stayed at home all of this month, which is precisely what I wanted to do after living a hobo life in Singapore.
We threw a small Diwali celebration at home. Food and laughter were abundant that day, and everyone from 53yo to 3yo returned with a goodie bag.
I also took a Photoshop course to fill my empty days so I wouldnât become stupider. Now, I can Photoshop myself into Downton Abbey dinner scenes. I showed it to my mama; she said no one would buy that the cat T-shirt was a trend during that era. Nevertheless, I am pretty proud of it. Additionally, I participated in Blogtober, something I thought I would never be able to do, but I completed it. Yay me!
We also discovered two fancy-schmancy coffee shops in Jakarta called DJournal and 1/15. I have a long overdue post about it. Soon, you guys, soon.
I visited my primary school one day and was lucky enough to meet some of the teachers. Most of them remember me as the weird one; some things never change.
I also took the IELTS test, wished Yin a happy birthday, and published several posts from my draft folder.
I had a low-key Halloween. I raided Amma’s secret stash of candies (yes, she really has them, and no, I don’t know who she is hiding them from) and ate them in front of the TV. The theme was a sugar rush and a scary movie marathon. It’s okay; I am good; this will do for this year.

Thank You, Next!
Next month, I will travel with my cousins and drink a copious amount of Glßhwein.
