On my first morning in Kochi, I woke up to heavy monsoon rain. There goes our family breakfast plan, I thought. It didn’t cross my ignorant mind that there would be UberEats in Kochi, but here I am, an hour later, sitting in the apartment we Airbnb-ed, writing in my notebook after sharing breakfast food that we just UberEats earlier.
The breakfast? Thattil Kutty Dosa.
Though I have had my share of dosas before, this was the first time I had this dosa. A marriage of idli and regular dosa, Thattil Kutty Dosa is smaller and fluffier than the most dosa I have ever had, which reminds me of pancake. Savoury pancake, if you will especially eat with meat curry as the chutney. I only had a few pieces of those, as it’s pretty filling.
